Bungee Jump in Japan
“Asahimura in Yamagata prefecture”
Asahimura bungee is famous for bungee jump in Japan. It is in Yamagata prefecture. The origin of Bungee jump in Japan is there. The bridge bungee is only there. If you want to try from bridge in Japan, you should go there.
It has 34 m in height from bridge to river. It has never had accident, si it is safe. The river is not clean like Kawarau river in New Zealand. The color of river is green or dark blue. It is not so deep, so the river is also safe. You can try bungee jump even if it rains.
The view is very beautiful. Asahimura bridge is surranded by a lot of woods. You can enjoy the beautiful nature as bungee jumping.

New Zealand (Speech)
My speech
I compare with bungee jump in New Zealand and Japan.
When you go to New Zealand, you should try bungee jumping. “Queenstown” is famous for bungee jump. The origin of Bungee jump in New Zealand is there. It has a Kawarau Bridge which has a big high bridge. It is 43 m in height from bridge to river. You can experience a beautiful view and clean air as bungee jumping.
On the other hand, “Asahimura” is famous for bungee jump in Japan. It is in Yamagata prefecture. The origin of Bungee jump in Japan is there. It has 34 m in height from bridge to river. It has never had accident.
When compared them, bungee jump in New Zealand is higher than Japanese one. I think New Zealand is good for people who like high places and exciting. I recommend that people who do not have confidence to try from so high place should try it in Japan, because it is safer than New Zealand.

If you want to try bungeejumping, you should go to Queenstown where has Kawarau Bridge which has a big high bridge. It is 43 m in height from bridge to river. It is very famous to do bungeejumping. You can see Kawarau River. It is beautiful view. Kawarau Bridge is good for people who like exciting.
There are hot springs in Rotorua. Hot steam escapes from cracks in the road. Back gardens come with their natural mineral hot pool and the pungent aroma of sulphur exotically permeates the air. They are very beautiful. You feel that there is a different world. Rotorua is one of New Zealand's most popular tourist spots. Many tourists all over the world come there for visiting there. You can experience not only beautiful view, but also Maori Culture. Maori is native New Zealand people. Rotorua offers everything from interactive cultural tours. You can look Maori culture and dance show at hotels. It is good experience for you to learn New Zealand. Why don't you visit there?

My presentation about festival
My speech
●Wine festival is held in some foreign countries. In Japan, it is held in Ikeda-city in Hokkaido.
●Wine festival in Ikeda is held on October 5, 2008.
People can enter from 9:50 and start at 10:00 am. The festival finishes at 14:30. Although it is short festival, you can enjoy because it is not a normal festival. It is good for people who like eating and drinking but be careful eating and drinking too much.
●Wine festival is held in Ikeda-city. It is Hokkaido. It’s far from here but you don’t care because you can enjoy.
Get off the trains in Ikeda station and walk about 10 minutes.
You also see Ikeda castle which is a wine institute. You can join the wine tour. Then, you can taste the wine and find good one for you. It’s free! You can enjoy there whole a day.

The festivals in Ikeda city are held four times a year; July, August, October, and December. What hold in autum is Wine festival.
Wine festival is held not only Japan, but also abroad. There are some examples abouot Wine festival abroad.
Wine festival in France (Bordeaux)
When People hear wine, everyone think France. There are Wine festivals in Flance. Wine festival in France is very big special event. It is held in some areas there. It is also held in Bordeaux, so I introduce wine festival in Bordeaux. It is held in June once two years. You have to buy "Pass Degustation" which is ticket to enter. It costs €13. Then, you are able to get wine glass and taste 12 tickets which are to taste wine ( you can taste wine 12 times; if you don't have them, you cannot taste wine). If you lose 
the tickets or use all, you can buy extra 5 tickets. It costs €5. People do not drink wine, don't worry! They can experience not only wine, but also concerts and event show. Moreover, there are also special products from many countries. From Japan, "Awamori (Sake in Okinawa)" and "Ramen (noodle in Fukuoka) " were sold there in 2006.

It is held in Panzano on 19 to 21 September because people is able to harvest grapes for wine there in fall. A lot of people come there from all over the world. People are able to taste the wine there. If you want to try the wine there, 
you have to buy glass for drinking wine. Buy the glass, then drink! When you want to say to taste, you could say "Posso assaggiare questo?". It means " I would like to try it". Then, owners pour it in your glass which you bought. You may try very expensive wine.
Yosakoi Festival in Fukui
Yosakoi festival is held in Fukui where is my hometown on Oct
28. It is not so popular in Japan, but it is big festival in Fukui. Everyone who lives there know it. You need to go to Fukui station.
There are many shops and events and some famous people come there like comedians or singers. "Tetsu & Tomo (click here)" who used to be popular comedian has come there. "Chousyuu Koriki (click here)" who is still popular comedian has come and I have seen him.
The main event is dance. It is called "Yosakoi Icchorai (click here)". A lot of people dance on the street. It is hard to dance but fun. I have never danced but I have seen. Every Yosakoi dancers looked very tired but they looked very fun after dance. I want to try it someday if I have chance.
The festival is not big like Nagoya's one but I think you can enjoy.
